I saw this Christopher Ward online last week and thought it looked fantastic:

That is, until I saw the Baume & Mercier Classima 8869:

I love the heart design. It's absolutely stunning. I'm currently the proud owner of one of the Classimas already:

And in my little reptile brain, I'm thinking... "I should sell my existing Classima and use it to upgrade to the open heart Classima!"

I really like the blue hands though. does the open heart one come with blue hands?

Doesn't have the power reserve, but they do have the open heart with a blue hand: http://www.baume-et-mercier.com/collection-Classima/Classima-8688

i like the one you posted better w/o the blue arms. however i'm a sucker for blue hands for some reason.

yeah, i think the black contrasts better with the open heart design - gives it added emphasis. wish they had the non-power reserve in black.. the power reserve costs an extra 1.5k!

wow, that's a big jump. but then again, the watch industry is sort of crazy like that it seems. small details can make the watch double in price... so you're a b&m fan? i'm itching to buy a watch but, can't decide on what i want. leaning towards an omega seamaster.
