This guy at Barnes and Noble keeps giving me the evil eye. I'm so scared :(

Edit: Oops. Jennifer has pointed out that my nonchalant vague usage of the verb "work" has confused people. I am not employed by Barnes and Noble - I just bring my laptop and do work at Barnes and Noble. Apologies.

I have no intentions of moonlighting as a Barnes and Noble employee, although one of the girls that works here is pretty cute...

Think of it this way. At least you didn't have a 40 year old guy stalking you and then ask if you want to go to Montana with him. >

Whoa, that didn't really happen to you, did it?

Yes it did. There was another time actually when another guy followed me around and then later asked me to run with him in the mornings sometimes when he found out I liked running. (weird)

The strangest one of these incidents would have to be the Opera show. I was walking around by myself since I came to see my voice teacher (she sings in the Opera), and this Indian guy came up to me and offered me a ticket if I would sit with him. Naturally I told him I was meeting someone else (not really), but that was strange too.

But yea, those are just three odd moments when I feel like I'm a prostitute. :(

Yes, indeed sir, it is. But it's well air-conditioned, and it's a great change of scenery for me ;)

Yesterday, some creepy hispanic dude sat down across from me at the table that I was occupying, hogging the entire half of the table that I was hoping to have all to myself. I thought he was another homeless junkie or something. Then he got up and some other guy sat down. It's customary to do that in Asia, but I didn't know about B&N.
