my mom finally left the house today. so i did what i've been craving to do since i went to korea.

i busted out my z560 logitech speaker system (400 watts of pure audio baby!) ... wired it up, and fired it up (full bass at like 1/2 volume). i love it.

for those of you who don't know about logitech's z560 system, it's hte best speaker system for its price. the sub goes at 188 watts, which each of the 4 satellite speakers goes at 53 watts each. it's got the "3d surround sound" feature, but i was never really a big fan of that ... this is the key reason the people downstairs hated me last year (haha). sometimes when i listened to bass-heavy songs (freaknasty's da dip comes to mind) ... you could hear it coming off the elevator at my dorm. (but actually the only complaint i've had with this system is that the bass is a bit TOO heavy. ouch) hahahahahahahaha.

apparently this system can output a nice 110 dB. that's somewhere around a jet plane (if i'm not mistaken). threshold of pain is 140 dB (hahaah i know THAT one for sure). (that number is significantly lower when you listen to my playlist).

but yes, if you're looking for a nice speaker system, this is it. all my friends have it, too. for the price, you can't beat it. but of course, if you have more than $135 to blow, go get some klipsch or some bose.
