argh. i've been trying to find a film scanner on the offchance that my school cuts off access to their sony uy-s77 scanner ($7000 film scanner). i think i found a nice scanner (canon fs4000) for about $800 if i need to buy a scanner. but man, i hope i can continue using my school's film scanner. ain't no substitute for a scan like this. woooo! (technical info: shot with yashica t5d on velvia 50... scanned with the sony uy-s77). try to get a picture of THAT quality, my digital camera friends ;))

if you want to see a 9-meg scan, check this baby out. wooo! handholding a point and shoot camera with that quality ... unbeatable ;) (again, yashica t5d + velvia ... i had just gotten the yashica and was running a test roll of velvia through it)
