i'm crying. i just found ... this printer ... and it's my ... dream come ... true.

i want it. sooo badly. it prints ... amazing pictures.

let's check out my set-up real quick... shall we?

1.) i have a kick-ass 50/1.4 canon usm lens for incredibly sharpness
2.) i shoot velvia 50 and provia 100f, both noted for their great color saturation and their (lack of) grain structure.
3.) at unc, they have a $6K film scanner i use to scan images ... as high dpi as i want ...

if i can get this sucker, i can make ... MY OWN PRINTS!!! AHHHH!!

I WANT IT!!! argh. just when i was about to quit my job ... and get out of it ... i need money. ::sigh:: such is life, huh?
