I'd argue that complexity gets shifted out like a game of poker. You discard frustrations and in return the deal can give you good ones or bad ones. Remember with some complexities comes great joy. If life wasn't complex, it wouldn't be fun.

That's growing up for you. As you mature, you're only exposed to additional layer after layer of complexity. Think of it like... a video game, yeah, where as you grow in experience, you get harder enemies.
