I filled up my tank yesterday on my Ford Taurus (~16 mpg avg). The last time I had filled up before yesterday was June 8th.

If there was ever a way to quantitatively measure the "needs to go out more factor," this would be it.

The Taurus only gets 16 MPG? I would have thought it'd be more.

16 nbsmpg (no bullshit miles per gallon, aka "me actually calculating how many gallons i put in and how many miles i got on the odometer on average")

the number's a bit low because:
1. i do a lot of "city" driving (around CH - the only HW driving i do is to and from the local mall, which is like once every two weeks)
2. i drive with the windows down
3. it's an old car ('95 man!)

"saving" money = watching money dissappear from stocks, yes ;)

i'd rather be going out and spending that lost money on drinks than watching it dissppear on a website ;D
