Sweet, Gmail approved Tabulas.com for a beta test on it's "install Gmail for your domain" service! This is right after Google approved Analytics usage last week... somebody must like me there.

If you want your own Tabulas email using Gmail's backend, drop me an email at roy@tabulas.com.

Edit: When requesting a username, be sure it doesn't have underscores in it. Gmail accepts dashes and periods, though.

Once you get your account, login from http://mail.google.com/hosted/tabulas.com/.

Oh, FYI, the spammers are back.

Got spammed in some comments, and they're spamming tagboard as well.

it looks like this time they're manually posting them - nothing much i can really do here without risking create a total blacklist.

I got your mail with password. I tried logging in (gave a new password too) and when I click 'I accept. Create an accout' button firefox comes up with this. Btw I have cookies enabled.

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Maybe it was a glitch with the site just then. Are you still having trouble?

I've never used gmail before. Is it better than hotmail?

I have so many damned email accounts, most of which I don't even use anymore. May be time to do some cyber cleaning.

2500+ mb space, search function, and more.

Can't really beat that for a free email service.

Did you see my support ticket about broken unicode when editing entries?

Also, I just noticed that unicode is broken in the rss feeds as well (noticed this when I saw garbage text for my entry on Technorati)

i've been a bit overloaded and haven't had a chance to go through the bugs. i'll try to take a look at it shortly.

Also, it's only broken in the entry text, the category tag is fine.

The entry unicoded text in RSS and when editing entries: ã€Œå¯é…‰æ±æµ·é“ã€€ï½ <-- garbage text
The category unicode encoded text: 東方 <-- this is correct I think

Eck, it ate the rest of my comments (consider encoding less than signs in comments so it doesn't think it's the start of a tag)

Entry: <a href="http://tabulas.com/~dracil/1197713.html" rel="nofollow">http://tabulas.com/~dracil/1197713.html</a>

unless i'm mistaken, this is using hotmail as its backend, isn't it?
Comment posted on May 22nd, 2006 at 02:35 PM
I think it should be using the Windows Live Mail Beta.
