YouTube has the MTV version of 2Pac's "I ain't mad at cha."

The feel of this version is completely different than the version that's on his Greatest Hits album. I'm actually preferring this version (at the moment) a bit more; the video version feels more heartfelt and somber.

Does anybody have this version as a MP3? Or was it released on one of his albums so I can buy it? Thanks.

Also, as a follow-up to my Verve Pipe "Freshman" video post, the answer from their fan message boards is that there were two versions of the video: the "official" video release and then a second version which was made for Jenny McCarthy's MTV show. I was remembering the second version. See! I wasn't crazy!

The main difference is the instrumentation: in the album version, you've only got drums, keyboards, and bass.

In the video rendition, the bass line has a more active role, the keyboards are replaced by a grand piano, guitar lines are added, as well as strings, and horns

I think you might be a little more sensitive than me...I detect very slight differences (besides the censoring, obviously), but they're all slight shifts of tone. I don't think I would have picked up on it had you not posted. I'm not sure what the greatest hits version sounds like, but here is the cut from all eyez on me:

yeah, that's the version on the greatest hits. the mtv video version ... just has a different vibe. it's just produced slightly differently. less edge.
