Woke up, got an email from Dell saying my order would be delayed a week (was supposed to ship today). Nuts.

Got a call after lunch from the dentist's; they called to cancel their appointment with me tomorrow ... and rescheduled to March 1st. Wowza.

Why is it that these dentist offices don't have some sort of web interface where you can sign up and set your available times - the site could automatically email you when somebody cancelled so you could fill their empty slots. No loss of money for the dentist, plus I could get my teeth cleaned. Everybody wins.

Great idea. I'll bet there is a dentist somewhere who has already started something like that. Maybe you should write/patent a program and sell it.

You should delete this post. That medical appointment internet/interface thing is a multi-million dollar idea.

If you can order pizza on the net, you should be able to do your teeth too.

I made my appointment for February 14th thinking it would be low traffic. Apparently, everyone wants their teeth cleaned that day. I just always make my appointments six months to the day of the last one. I'm obsessed with teeth, can you tell?
