Basketball fans, which is worse:

  1. Blowing a 2-0 lead in the Finals by being blown out two consecutive games in a row
  2. Being scored on by Darko Milicic (and all the implied things that go with this)

It definitely has to be getting scored on by Darko. First of all he is the "human victory cigar" as someone so eloquently put it and he gets rejected by the rim going for a dunk. Having said that, the move Darko put on looked pretty good. I still think Darko will turn out to be a decent pro.

What about "3. Being Darko Milicic"?

Also, what does AFAIK stand for?

umm... i don't know who this darko-fellah is... but i'd say 1.

i wouldn't be embarrassed by having darko score on me.. he's 7 feet tall.. he better be able to.

with that said... apparently everyone has jumped back onto the piston bandwagon..

it'll all far apart again though when they realize... antonio mcdyess is still antonio mcdyess without knees, Lindsay Hunter can't continue to shoot over 50% for the rest of the playoffs (let alone another 7 for 10)., these are the ONLY two players they use off the bench!!, and Tim Duncan will get foul calls in San Antonio.

but... then again... it's detroit vs san antonio.. who really cares.

and bill simmons is right.. if you need teh home team to get a win.. who doyou call on to save teh day?

Dick Bavetta =)

Well, if the Pistons werent playing so well, I think Bavetta might have something to do with it. AFAIK, the game was reffed moderately good (by their standards). no outrageous calls.

i'm not jumping on the pistons bandwagon ... but a lot of people are. i'm not really on their bandwagon, but i do hate the spurs with a passion.

but dude... letting DARKO MILICIC SCORE ON YOU??? come ON. that is just messed UP.

You hate the Spurs?

Well I am from San Antonio so you can lick a big one ;-)

We blew them out, they blew us out, sounds about even, until we won last night....

I vote for 2. Being scored on by Darko Milicic (and all the implied things that go with this)

I mean, the Spurs dominated the first two games at home, and the last two games they were just sloppy. Darko, however.... thats a whole lotta shame.
