PICTURES!!!
surprisingly, i'm not totally exhausted after working ... 12 hours a day for three days. my first foray out into the real world isn't too bad 8)
a quick note: i think i'm getting old. i have reached a point where i have no clue how technologically advanced stuff is getting when i buy it.
for example, i knew my digital camera could shoot movies, but i did NOT know it did SOUND with the movies! what the heck?!?!!? one of my kids accidentally shot a movie of class and there was sound. i was amazed!
in any case, here are some random pictures:
Here is the result of me getting way too involved in a lesson regarding one of the verbal reading passages. I think the combination of the sloppiness and the fact that I was too lazy to erase the board led to my students being completely lost.
Just kidding. The lesson helped them understand a very complex passage ...
Apparently this is what I looked like as a little kid. But other people disagree.
This is me "working." As you can see, I work very hard for my money.
This was confiscated from a girl in the SAT class; she is bright but never studies and generally does not try much.
It translates: Sleep is coming (the repeated characters are "co-ming," which doesn't make much sense in english, but it does in korean). I'm so sleepy~ i want some pat bingsu (a dessert in korea that she artistically drew out). the words by the bear, i believe, is some insult to someone (not sure...). i don't want to study. the quoted words are the sounds you make to a baby when he/she is put to sleep...
so you can tell how motivated my students are. har har.
and finally, after teaching for 8 hours, look what i get to grade:
