This was a bit out of context. The entire conversation was a musing about whether the world would end when we finally close our eyes. Like we are generating the world. A way of expressing how sad it would be to die and have our end be the end to happier things. The laughter of other people. Like if we died the rest of the world would blink out of existence.

That is pretty deep considering.

I know I dont laugh now that someone else I know is gone. Not really laughed. Ive faked it since to not make my family freak out, but more or less I havent had a real laugh since September. So in a way it is true that if we die sometimes the laughter ends.

This was later turned into a lyric, but I dont recall the name of the song. Im not too big on song titles. I know lyrics pretty well though.
