currently sipping on some fruitopia, chilling to mint royale's "from rusholme with love" (which was the song playing in vanilla sky in the scene when tom cruise is running through the deserted times square) while programming for tabulas.

life is good. mp3/movie upload should be arriving soon. i've had to do a nasty shortcut to get around the safe mode restrictions on the primary tabulas server (boo to safe mode).

It's just why forums like vBulletin have subforums. Supposing I've got 1000 photos from New Zealand. If i wanted to split it up all into seperate albums, they would each have to be individualised. It'd be awesome if i could create the album "New Zealand", then subforums like "Queensland", "Auckland", etc. ;)

Suggestion: sub albums. I think it'd be awesome to have sub albums attached to each album.. would really help me sort out my photos better.

I'm not asking WHY subfolders are useful, but I just don't see why that is any more useful than creating albums that say Australia: Sydney or Australia: Melbourne. In any case, I'll look into it.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't just create another album. Sub-albums are something I thought about for a bit, but in the end I found them pretty useless. Organizing with albums themselves should be enough.

roy, i'm posting this here because i don't know where else to. there's nothing on tabulas.com/~tokki that i can post bug reports on.

I tried to upload a 10mb zip file with pictures, and pictures only. They're not even in folders. Once i hit "upload", i see the blue load bar at the bottom of every IE window slowly increase.. and after 10 minutes, it's completed. I'm redirected to a screen that it detected a zip file.. and in seconds, i'm redirected to another screen that says the archive is empty.

That's pretty impossible, because the archive isn't. Any ideas?

Weird.. oh well.

Any chance i could leave the URL of the zip file elsewhere, and you upload it for me to tokkiproject.com?

Don't use such a big zip file. Try two 5 meg files.

Thanks -- i did just that and it worked fine. :) Maybe you should put a 6meg file size limit per upload.
